Art of Linnea Strid

Remember when you used to take art classes and everyone told you that you were super talented and some day you were going to make it big? Linnea Strid is like that except she didn’t get kicked out of the most lax arts program in the country like we did. True story. She reunites oil paint or pencil with plywood, wood panel, canvas, or whatever else is around in some of the most stunning photorealistic paintings and drawings. Even though she’s leagues beyond all of us in terms of skill, there’s something about four drunks, a dog, and a table full of beer (Carlsberg in her case) – or a cold shower with clothing – that we can all relate to. They might not be available for purchase on ye olde Internets, but we’re content basking in their awesomeness.
