Off-grid camping doesn’t have to mean no electricity, and that even equates to EV power for Winnebago’s lastet small camper known as the eRV2. This is the second EV concept the brand has unveiled over the past two years, and this one gets seriously bumped up in just about every aspect. Again, the base vehicle is a Ford Transit but this time it’s the all-electric Ford E-Transit with a 68-kWh battery pack and an electric motor good for 266 horses, up from 215. Range is a scant 108 miles, which is a bit of a disappointment, but it’s a concept for now. Inside, the eRV2 gets a kitchenette, an entertaining area that can be converted into a bedroom, a bathroom with a shower and removable toilet, onboard WiFi, solar panels, and plenty of recycled materials for the eco-consicous. Look for the brand to deliver a production version in the not-too-distant future.
