If you have a bank account as deep as the Marianas Trench, and you fancy yourself sitting in an SUV that looks Batman’s Tumbler made love with a Stealth Fighter, the Karlmann King was made for you. The Excell Auto Group in Florida is taking orders, and it’s officially the world’s most expensive SUV with a starting price of $1.8 million. The diamond-faceted exterior is all cut lines and flat surfaces, and it looks like the only thing that’s round are the wheels and tires. Under the hood is a beefy 6.8-liter V10 engine that’s good for 400 hp. The Karlmann King weighs between 9,000 and 12,000 pounds (depending on customization levels, which can include a bulletproof body), so it tops out at just 87 mph. The interior looks Darth Vader custom ordered it from Bentley, and it can be outfitted with starry ceiling ambient lighting, a widescreen 4K HD TV, refrigerator, Nespresso machine, a small valuable safe, pop-up dining tables, a PlayStation 4 console, and probably whatever else your rich eccentricity desires.
