In the world of coachbuilt cars, this one threw us for a loop. Dutch coachbuilder RemetzCar was asked to build a “shooting brake” (Eurospeak for 2-door wagon) out of a Tesla Model S P85 sedan by a fellow Dutchman who so happened to adore the segment. The result is a green machine in more than one sense of the term. Built back in 2018 as RemetzCar’s final project (they closed their doors that summer), the Model SB (Shooting Brake) keeps the design of the wagon consistent with the original car but replaces the back end with a capacious cargo section. The extended roofline includes a beautiful roof spoiler that artfully blends into the rear side window frame at the D-pillar. The car’s interior gets clad in gorgeous tan leather with green piping and Alcantara suede, as well as carbon fiber panels, new HVAC vents, and customized badging. For a little more than $200,000 (2x the price of a Model S) you can own the only one ever made.
