Sometimes we can’t discern between our love for a movie or the iconic car that can sometimes steal center stage. The Tumbler from “Batman Begins” comes to mind, as well as Doc’s DeLorean DMC-12 time machine from “Back to the Future”. Now, Petersen’s Automotive Museum is bringing 40 truly iconic vehicles from movies, as well as video games to its Hollywood Dream Machines: Vehicles of Science Fiction and Fantasy Exhibition, celebrating the museum’s 25th anniversary. In collaboration with the Comic-Con Museum, the Exhibition kicks off on May 4th for the preview night with the fascinating cars, relevant film artifacts, an augmented reality experience, and live music. The exhibition promises to be one of the best assemblages of entertainment-related vehicles on the planet, and car, film, video game, and sci-fi buffs won’t want to miss it for the rather affordable price of entry. No cosplay required, thankfully.
