Remember when Segways came out and everyone was blown away by the leaning controls and the idea of a personal electric vehicle? Onewheel is kind of like that… except it’s also mixed with an obvious love of the hoverboard we’ve all wanted since before we really understood the cultural importance of Back to the Future. It looks like a skateboard with one giant wheel inside, but it rides much more like a snow or surfboard because all you have to do is lean. Made in the USA from custom materials and a lot of Stanford engineering know how, Onewheel is probably the closest any of us will come to riding an actual hoverboard in this life.
