Koenigsegg Gemera Four-Seat Hypercar

Koenigsegg Gemera Four-Seat Hypercar

Christian von Koenigsegg has imagined building a true-four seat hypercar for almost two decades, and he’s finally realized it in the carbon fiber flesh. Rather than a cramped 2+2 grand tourer, the Gemera has four true seats for actual adults and provides untrammeled ingress and egress, to boot. The big scissor doors mean rear occupants can gain access without the front seats moved up, and the back seats are as comfortable as the fronts. This “Mega-GT”, as the company has coined it, is fully capable of transporting and frightening its passengers while still providing them with cooled and heated cupholders, 11-speaker premium audio, Wi-Fi, full infotainment, capacity for four pieces of luggage, and legroom to spare. The front carbon fiber seats weigh in at a mere 37.5 pounds each and extend into the car’s floor to create maximum space. The 1,700 horsepower from three electric motors and a twin-turbo three-cylinder engine will hurtle your whole family to 60 mph in less than two seconds but will also get 31 miles of all-electric range and provide 631 miles of total range fully charged and fully gassed up. There’s no word on pricing, but if you have to ask…
