Humble One Solar-Powered Electric SUV

Humble One Solar-Powered Electric SUV

The wave of EVs has already begun, and it’s only going to get bigger. The question as to whether or not there will be commensurate charging infrastructure is the big question. Humble MOtors has a solution by creating the Humble One, a solar-powered electric SUV that has solar cells embedded into the roof, doors, and deployable wings, totaling 80 square feet of charging surface. While you still have to plug it in, solar charging provides between 10 and 60 miles per day depending on conditions. That’s meant to supplement the already impressive 500-mile range. The One will also be anything but sluggish, transporting up to four passengers with up to 1,020 horsepower. You just have to like really, really big grilles. Humble Motors is taking reservations now for delivery in 2025.
