Gordon Murray Automotive T.50s Niki Lauda

Gordon Murray Automotive T.50s Niki Lauda

Gordon Murray (the man behind the legendary McLaren F1 supercar) has built the T.50, a car he refers to as “the greatest analog driver’s car ever”, and now there’s one built as an homage to the iconic race car driver, Niki Lauda. This version has been optimized for track detail with upgraded suspension bits, lower ride height, aerodynamic enhancements, and an anti-roll bar.
Many of the details are inspired by Murray’s 1983 Brabham BT52 Formula One car. The T.50s Niki Lauda is powered by a 3.9-liter V12 from Cosworth that emits 725 hp and is mated to a custom six-speed automatic transmission for rapid-fire shifts. The top speed is between 200 and 210 mph, and stopping power comes from Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and six/four (front/rear) piston calibers for maximum bite. The T50s also gets magnesium forged 18-inch wheels for reduced weight. The price? A cool $4.3 mil.
