The Ford GT40 is a Le Mans legend. British electric conversion specialist Everrati took its iconic, low-slung body and those famous guillotine doors and wrapped them around a modern all-electric powertrain, a 700V system, that emits 800 brake horsepower for a 0-to-60 time under four seconds, which beats the original’s 4.7 seconds by a healthy margin. Most importantly, however, is the fact that the weight distribution from front to rear has been retained in the process, a painstaking effort, no doubt. The 46kWh battery can handle DC fast charging, and the car even has a range of over 125 miles, so daily commutes could be the coolest, ever. You can configure one on their site now, and buyers can also customize it. No pricing has been disclosed.
