Earth Motorcycles took what many consider to be a well-built, albeit awkwardly vintage moto, and turned it into something altogether different. The 1993 BMW R100RT donor bike was stripped of all its bodywork and fairing, but the double-cradle steel frame and air-cooled 980cc boxer engine remain. Earth performed a teardown, removed the subframe and added a YSS shock and shortened fork, and then it powder-coated it all. The engine was reworked with new internals, air filters, and a bead-blasted/Cerakoted case. It also received straight bars, a new bobber seat, repainted tank, custom fenders, and new exhaust. It’s a total transformation that was clearly worth the effort.
