Citroën Ami Buggy

Citroën Ami Buggy

We covered the Citroën Ami One Concept a little while back, and it seems the real thing is finally here in the form of the Ami Buggy. More than just simple, electric transportation, the Ami Buggy is meant to be fun and playful, like something a child might want. Evidence of that mindset includes the colorway, the roof-mounted spare, the zippered and removable canvas doors, the yellow trim inside and out, and those small knobby tires that look like they came off a Tonka. Power is, as you guessed, less than astounding. 8 horsepower, to be exact. It tops out at a blistering 28 mph and gets 40 miles of all-electric range. There’s no word on price, but it may exist as a fun rental for short-distance adventures and some seriously easy parking efforts.
