We can’t quite say whether or not the very-long-awaited Aptera teardrop-shaped EV is too late to the party, but it is finally going to be sold to consumers who probably already forgot about it. The sleek three-wheeler gets 400+ miles of all-electric range, accelerates to 60 mph in under four seconds, and the front end gets clad in solar cells to provide up to 40 miles of sunny charging per day. It also supports DC fast charging so you can spend less time plugged in and more time making people look. The light and strong composite body houses two occupants, who may or may not resemble Ed Begley, Jr. In the back, there are 32.5 cubic feet of storage, and the interior boasts modern minimalist styling covered in eco-conscious materials. You can reserve one on Aptera’s website now.
