A Rare Toyota FJ43 Is Being Auctioned Off

Originally owned by a priest in Columbia, this extremely rare 1971 FJ43 will be auctioned off at Bonhams Quail Lodge later this month. Found in relatively good condition, the folks at FJ Company worked their magic in the restoration of this medium wheelbase FJ43. Incidentally, it is the longer wheelbase that is the sole difference between the FJ43 and the more commonly known FJ40. Providing a nice contrast to the Heath Gray exterior is factory brown interior appointments. Even the hardtop installed by said priest was replaced in favor of the correct canvas soft top resulting in what may be the nicest FJ43 restoration ever.
