The Hummer H1 is a 4×4 icon that still receives customization efforts to make it far more than its military and civilian specifications originally provided. Michigan’s Mil-Spec Automotive’s new H1 Supertruck is the best of the best. The big monster truck is based on the four-door hard-top H1, and it gets an aerospace-grade aluminum body with Kevlar-infused coating, an underbody and engine bay with full ceramic coating, integrated steel skid plate, tow hooks, a 30-gallon extended-range fuel tank, upgraded suspension with a whopping 13-inches of travel, and beefier driveshafts. The custom bumpers, grille and hood guard, as well as the big roll cage finish off the Supertruck’s bold presence. But it’s not without creature comforts thanks to the Formawerx diamond-quilted Nappa leather seats and center console, crisp black-anodized gauge housings, premium audio system, and a machined billet aluminum steering wheel. Under the hood is the H1’s hefty 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engine that churns out 500 horses and 1,000 lb-ft of torque. The price for all this? A cool $300,000 and worth every penny.
