Audi Finally Revealed the 2019 Audi R8

Among all the street-legal supercars and vehicle that participated in the Gumball 3000, the gorgeous Audi R8 will always hold a special place in our hearts. As soon as Audi announced it was revamping the R8 for 2019, rumors started to fly about what changes would be made to the supercar we’ve all come to know and love. Thankfully, all the rumors about the downsized yet boosted V6 replacing the V10 weren’t true. The tried-and-true V10 is here to stay and, even better, it’s gaining extra horsepower. The regular V10 will put out 532 horsepower while the V10 Plus will produce 602 ponies. In addition to the performance upgrades, it’s also getting a few stylistic upgrades courtesy of Audi’s racing cars. It has a more aggressive grill, a meaner splitter, new exhaust pipes and an overall presence that will release your inner child. The newest iteration of the Audi R8 will go on sale in Europe in early 2019 with U.S. sales to start later in the year.
