1993 Land Rover Defender 110

1993 Land Rover Defender 110

We write about numerous Land Rover Defender mods and restomods, but this particular Defender up for sale on eBay looks virtually untouched thanks to a thoughtful restoration that keeps everything looking truly original. You’d never guess by looking at it, but this longer four-door Defender (the 90 has two doors) actually has a serious laundry list of new components including an upgraded Defender turbodiesel engine that’s been overhauled, restored transmission, and a revised and restored suspension setup. There are also a new windshield, grille, sidesteps, tires, window gaskets, and Expedition ladder, just to name a few. More contemporary updates include LED lighting, a modern infotainment system with GPS, rich diamond-quilted leather and Alcantara suede upholstery. The sheer number of upgrades and replaced parts is voluminous, and it’s all been done thoughtfully in order to make an old 110 look like it rolled out of a coach build in 1993. It’s just hard to believe the remarkably low asking price for an off-road legend worthy of well over six figures.
