1975 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale

1975 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale

The legendary Lancia Stratos rally car was an homologation special that was essentially the first car of its kind created just for the World Rally Championship. It took the podium in the series three years in a row World in 1974, 1975 and 1976. The Bertone designer Marcello Gandini penned its aggressive lines and gave it a big crescent windshield and the iconic wedge shape from his Stratos Zero Concept. This pristine blue Stratos HF Stradle is a true rarity of which only 492 were ever made. It’s been fully restored to perfection and has only 18,517 original miles on it. As one of the finest example of the Stratos on planet earth, it should fetch a pretty penny when it goes up for auction at RM Sotheby’s Amelia Island this March. The winning bidder will have one of the most iconic rally cars of all time. The decision of whether or not to drive will be excruciating.
