The new Ford Bronco is a welcome addition to the modern lineup of trucks and SUVs that, quite frankly, we’ve been clamoring for forever. That said, if given the option, we’re still probably going vintage Bronco if the price and quality of work is right. This is most certainly the case with this 1971 Ford Bronco out of Washington that’s currently up for sale on Bring a Trailer. Rebuilt and refurbished over the course of 6 years, this Bronco is a soup to nuts rebuild that has just about everything you could ask for in a vintage Bronco built to be a daily driver. The engine was replaced with a fuel-injected 302ci V8 along with Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 intake manifold, fuel injectors, fuel pump and dual fuel tanks. It got a James Duff 3.5″ lift kit, Raceline 17″ wheels and four-wheel disc brakes for stopping power. Inside, the seats are high-back black leather with matching rear bench, there’s a powder-coated roll cage and the radio was upgraded to a retro style AM/FM option that includes Bluetooth. Finish all that fine work with a Jaguar-esque dark green paint job with white accents around the windows on the removable hard top and you have a recipe for a truck you’ll enjoy everywhere you drive it.
