1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427/435 Convertible

1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427/435 Convertible

I grew up next to a neighbor who owned a split-window C2 Corvette, and it was a beautiful beast. The C2 will go down in history as the most beautiful generation of Corvette ever made, and if you don’t believe us, just be lucky enough to see one in the flesh. This 1967 convertible might just be the most fetching and most coveted, and it’s going up for auction after a full refurbishing. This 427/435, clad in Rally Red over black, is powered by a 435-horsepower L71 V8 Turbojet (the most powerful of its generation). It has the special Stinger hood with contrasting black scoop, and the refined multi-spoke turbo wheels. Equipment like the auxiliary hardtop, AM/FM radio, dual side exhaust pipes, and F41 suspension are all original, along with the actual window sticker and tank sticker. Collectors will note this car’s numerous awards, which should drive up the price even more.
