If you’ve got some cash to burn and a ton of time on your hands, this could very well be your grail project. It’s a vintage Ferrari 250 GTE in pieces and ready for some busy (and skilled hands) to finish it. Originally made between 1959 and 1963, the 250 GTE was designed by Pininfarina as a slinky fastback grand touring coupe with a front-mounted V12 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The 250 GTE was designed to be both fast and comfy, with 240 horses, three Weber carburetors, and the ability to house passengers and luggage at speeds of up to 143 mph. This kit is complete but requires the buyer to rebuild the engine and gearbox, so it’s not a project for noobs. This rare project car is still unsold, but you can contact the UK’s Collecting Cars to inquire.
