The Star Wars Archives 1999–2005

The Star Wars Archives 1999–2005

As a follow up to the excellent Star Wars Archive Volume 1 from 2018, publisher TASCHEN has just released The Star Wars Archives 1999-2005. The 600-page hardbound book covers the making of the prequel trilogy: Episode I The Phantom Menace, Episode II Attack of the Clones, and Episode III Revenge of the Sith. It also focuses on the development of cinematic digital technology that changed the face of the Star Wars series and brought on digital cameras, sets, etc., which are now pervasive in filmmaking. It also features interviews with Lucas and Lucasfilm collaborators and includes storyboard art, scripts, stills, and more. How else are you gonna pass the time when we all get locked down again?
