Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus is all about driving fast and hard, both on pavement and off. Its impressive Boot is available to the affluent public, and its already announced its Hydrogen Fuel Cell Boot One will race in the grueling Baja 1000 off-road endurance race. The company just announced that the truck will use what’s known as cryogenic hydrogen, the first-of-its-kind in an off-roader. The technology bypasses a standard compressed-gas hydrogen for cryogenic liquid hydrogen which has to be stored at -423 degrees. Not only will using it across a face-melting desert be a challenge, but the technology to utilize it is shockingly advanced. The rendering shows what it could look like, and we have to say it’s mindblowing. The project is still in development, but if SCG can pull it off, racing will never be the same again.
