Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky is one of our favorite sippers on earth. A low key bottle but smooth as hell. It has no age statement, but it’s typically aged between 8 and 12 years. The new Nikka Whisky Yoichi Single Malt 10-Year-Old brings age statements back to the brand, and it also celebrates the recognition of some of the Yoichi distillery buildings as some of Japan’s “Important Cultural Properties.” Quantities of the 45% ABV special blend are limited, and the asking price is a modest $175. Expect that price to jump in the real world for what should prove to be a delectable spirit.
