Lexus, just like everyone else, is moving toward electrification. Allow the new LF-Z Concept to be the harbinger of things to come. The BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) just debuted, and it’s packed with evolutionary design features such as a modified spindle grille, body creases everywhere, and a swept-back greenhouse that’s part of the coupe-like and crossover-esque look. It also boasts the brand’s new four-wheel drive system known as Direct4 and an adaptive electrical system that changes depending on driving needs. Range is estimated at 373 miles from its 90kWh battery, and it should hit 62 mph from a standstill in a mere three seconds. Other features include a minimalist interior with wraparound screens, advanced AI voice commands, ambient lighting, and a Tesla Model S-like racing steering wheel. Plans for a production version target 2025 as a debut date, and it will hopefully carry forward at least some of what you see here.
