LEGO does up way more cars and SUVs in its Technic lineup than it does motos. But when the toymaker creates a motorcycle model, it’s a thing of beauty. Case in point, the new BMW M 1000 RR. BMW’s first M-branded motorcycle is worthy of inspiration with its 205 horsepower, racetrack-tested performance, and sweet aerodynamics that include futuristic carbon fiber winglets. The LEGO version captures the look of the M 1000 RR and includes a working manual transmission, functional suspension, and a real drive chain and gearing. The bike comes with its own rolling stand and an informational placard. The 1,920 pieces will keep you busy as you “work” from home, and at 1:5 scale and 18 inches in length, it will certainly have some serious desk presence. The special LEGO Beemer will go on sale on January 1st.
