After more than a year of waiting, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame finally inducted their class of 2020. There were more than a few worthy inductees, but the spotlight was on the posthumous induction of the man, the myth, the Black Mamba himself, Kobe Bryant. The fourth-highest scorer in league history. Two decades of floor time with the LA Lakers. Five rings. 18 All-Star Teams. MVP awards. We’re not going to go down the slippery slope that is the GOAT argument because there’s no denying the fact that Kobe is one of the greatest players of all time. It’s only fitting that he idolized Jordan and Michael was there to help induct him into the Hall of Fame with the help of Bryant’s wife Vanessa who gave an incredible, thoughtful, and heart-warming speech you can watch here. She also helped design Kobe’s Naismith exhibit that you can tour below through a SportsCenter sneak peek. Mamba Forever.
