What’s better than an original Jaguar C-Type in mint condition? Not much, but these two continuation cars from the brand are the stunning result of 3,000 hours each of painstaking and meticulous work. These racers were known for winning Le Mans in 1953. Clad in gorgeous paint colors and hand-crafted silver enameled badging, you would never guess they were built from the ground up based on original drawings and specs. The first version is painted in a one-off Verbier Silver on Cranberry Red leather interior, and the second ‘70-Edition’ pays homage to the winning 1953 C-Type XKC051 and gets painted in Works Team British Racing Green on Suede Green leather. Both were made at Jaguar’s Classic Works facility. Each car gets special badging to reflect its significance, and the $1.7 million price tag is also an indication.
