Why settle for a painfully ugly and sluggish Ford EcoSport for your next rental car when you can opt for a muscle car from the firepits of hell? The 2022 Shelby GT500-H delivers more than 900 horsepower from the 3.8-liter V8 engine, Whipple supercharger, and Shelby tuning. It actually has a mind-blowing 140+ horsepower over the already insane GT500 and 75 more than the Shelby Super Snake. It also comes with a vented carbon fiber hood, 20-inch monoblock wheels, a Borla cat-back exhaust, tinted windows, illuminated door sills, and special Hertz and Shelby badging. A mere 19 of them will show up in the rental fleet, and it’ll cost you $399 per day to rent one (worth every cent). Find them at Fort Myers, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, Florida; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Phoenix, Arizona. Chances are, they’ll only be back in the stable to rent when the bald tires are getting swapped out. After the year is over, they’ll be pulled out of the rental fleet and put up for sale.
