The GMC Canyon AT4 off-road pickup truck is capable enough all on its own. But GMC wanted to make a special version that’s even more rugged and overland capable. The reworked beast is known as the OVRLANDX Off-Road Concept, and it comes kitted out with a lifted, wider chassis, underbody protection, rocker panel protection, a new AEV bumper and winch, Multimatic DSSV dampers, recovery points, beadlock wheels, snorkel, and two locking differentials. The bed is capped off with a bed cap and roof tent, and the OVRLANDX even gets an awning and solar panels so you’re not exactly roughing it. We doubt we’ll see this in a GMC options package, but it is a vision of how cool customization can come to fruition.
