If one of your resolutions is to read more books, and you just so happen to be a fan of the late, great David Bowie, you’re in serious luck. Duncan Jones, Bowie’s son, just launched The David Bowie Book Club, which challenges you to read one of Bowie’s favorite books every month. If you didn’t know, Ziggy Stardust was a voracious reader, consuming a great number of books in a variety of genres, posing for a READ poster, and even sharing a top 100 list of his favorite paperbacks. In honor of his dad, Jones set to Twitter to announce the 100 book challenge, which he will also be partaking in. The first book up, which you have until February 1 to complete, is Peter Ackroyd’s London-based tale, Hawksmoor. Follow Jones on Twitter for updates.
