The Best Book Covers of 2016

The Best Book Covers of 2016

If you were to judge a book by its cover, each of these would win the Pulitzer. AIGA Design Archive, which has been cataloging great design since the ’20s, teamed up with Design Observer to crown the best designed books of last year. Two lists were released. One of the lists includes the 50 best designed book covers, and the other shares the picks for the best designed books. Some of our favorites include Classic Penguin: Cover to CoverDraplin Design Co. Pretty Much EverythingLooking Good: A Visual Guide to the Nun’s HabitLanoe Wyman: The Monograph, and My Father, The Pornographer. Take a look through the picks and maybe select out a few to make one good-looking bookcase display.
