Banksy’s Former Manager Is Releasing a Book Filled with Photos of the Artist in Action

Whether it’s opening stores to spite large brands, shredding his own works or defacing currency, everything Banksy does is talked about, newsworthy and on display. The one thing that remains a closely guarded secret is the artist’s identity, but that could change with his former manager / driver / dealer / photographer’s book Banksy Captured. Steve Lazarides, who was by Banksy’s side for over a decade during his rise to infamy, has complied 250 pages of never before seen photographs that go behind-the-scenes into the world of the mysterious artist. Banksy Captured is being self-published and distributed by Lazarides in December with a price tag of $32. If you’re lucky enough to be one of the first 50 people to pick up the book, you’ll also get one of Banksy’s Di-Faced-Tenner, the fake £10 bill with Princess Diana’s face. If you’re even luckier, you’ll get the single golden Di-Faced Tenner that will get you one of the rare Bomb Middle England screenprints.
