BMW customizer Alpina regularly issues special versions of already fast and luxurious Bimmers, but this one is its most potent. The new Alpina B5 GT is based on the current 5 Series sedan, and the power jumps from the 550i xDrive’s 523 horses up to 634 via its 4.4-liter bi-turbo V8. It will run from 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds, and the top speed is 205 mph. It comes in classic Alpina Blue, Alpina Green, Arctic Race Blue, Petrol Mica, Verde British Racing, Chalk, Imola Red, and Daytona Violet paint colors. It also gets Alpina’s 20-spoke turbine Alpina Classic 20″ forged wheels and Brembo brakes. Inside, the luxury gets notched up with special leather choices or bespoke sport seats with added bolstering and Alcantara suede inserts. Only 250 units will be made, and you can even choose a station wagon version.
