If you happen to get your hands on this rare Jaguar XJR-S V12 “Monaco”, count on just about everyone to stare and wonder what in the hell you’re driving. Only 12 of them were made by PBB Design as a high-performance version of the somewhat derided Jaguar XJS coupe. The widebody car features seriously flared front and rear quarters, a wholly new front fascia, upgraded suspension and brakes, new wheels/tires, and a big JaguarSport 6.0-liter V12 engine that was good for 328 horsepower. Buyers could opt for an even bigger 7.3-liter V12 if the stock engine was just insufficient. This red over black, right-hand drive “Monaco” is the prototype on which all the others were based. It heads to auction on February 25th and should prove to be a rather affordable but highly collectible sports coupe.
