In honor of yesterday’s National Hot Dog Day, Oscar Mayer dropped some pretty serious news–they converted the real Wienermobile into a rolling one room Airbnb that guests will be able to book. The 27 foot-long hot dog on wheels features a spacious (for a hot dog!) glass-lined interior with a pull-out couch bed near the front, captain’s chairs in the rear and a mini-fridge stocked with all the Oscar Mayer hot dog essentials. They even included an Oscar Mayer roller grill since there’s no kitchen that you get to take home with you after your stay. It’s missing a few important, traditional amenities like a bathroom, TV and WiFi Internet, but there’s only so much space to work with when you’re converting a giant, rolling hot dog. At only $136 per night depending on date and availability, it’s not even pricey compared to some of the other Airbnb options. The Wienermobile will be available for booking through Airbnb starting on July 24th.
