For the last decade, the Classic Car Club, a New York outfit open to petrolheads, has gathered in Soho for hangouts and meetings. Now, they’ve packed their trunks and hightailed it over to Pier 76, where Marc Thorpe Design imagined a new home base complete with a bar, mechanic space, and plenty of car-related design accents. Lots of warm woods pair with cold steel to form a space fitting for a bunch of people to talk shop in, as loud engines grumble in the background. A lounge area with rich leather chairs offer members a place to relax and a terrace allows for chilling by the water. View some pictures above and at Marc Thorpe Design’s site listed below. Then, maybe, apply for membership.
