The Appropriately Titled Joshua Tree ”Invisible House” Is up for Sale
When it comes to sheer architectural brilliance, you’d be hard-pressed to find anything as breathtaking as the Joshua Tree “Invisible House.” Situated on almost 70 acres of pure, pristine tranquility in Joshua Tree, California, this modern architectural gem checks all the boxes before you factor in its ability to almost disappear among the surrounding desert terrain. Designed by producer Chris Hanley and Gehry collaborator Tomas Osinski, the Invisible House is “built to directly connect inhabitant with environment through a mirrored glass exterior that seamlessly bridges the gap between indoor and outdoor space.” Honestly, that kind of explains everything from the minimalist interior expanses, to the sprawling views from the floor-to-ceiling windows, to the lack of ceilings. If modern amenities paired with deathbed-worthy views of the desert are what you’re looking for, you won’t find a better than what you’ll get from the five-star sheets of this bed or the couch in the accompanying en-suite.
