Maintaining a pool is a pain. Between treating the water and skimming for bugs, it can sometimes feel like having one is more work than it’s worth. A better option? Swimply. Swimply is, essentially, Airbnb for pools. What does that mean? It means you can rent someone’s pool for a period of time, allowing you and friends to get in a dip without the hassle of unfurling the solar cover and picking out leaves when you’re done. Rates vary between weekday and weekend usage, but you do get to peruse photos and reviews to help make the right choice. Once you’ve found the pool you want to do a few laps in, request to book it and the host will respond within three hours. Consider your weekend plans taken care of.
