If you’re spending any time in or around Vancouver Island, British Columbia, check out Free Spirit Spheres suspended treehouses for a unique, inspired and altogether different sleeping experience. As the name implies, Free Spirit Spheres are spherical treehouses built with a mission to give people an exceptional travel experience without taking away from the natural forest environment around them. There are currently three Free Spirit Spheres suspended treehouses that are part of the growing world class resort that is FSS. Eve is a nine foot diameter sphere with a single bed that’s nestled in the branches of a cedar and maple grove tree. Eryn, their second handcrafted sphere, is made from Sitka Spruce and has a double bed. Melody has the same interior volume as Eryn but with a completely different layout that features more creature comforts, double Murphy beds and enough space to be a studio on the go. At the end of the day, staying in a FSS is just a lot cooler than renting another Airbnb.
