You Can Stay in the Lake Como Villa from House of Gucci

You Can Stay in the Lake Como Villa from House of Gucci

Ridley Scott’s family crime drama House of Gucci has been the talk of Hollywood since the trailer revealed the over-the-top style of its cast. And now you too can embody that sense of fashion royalty by staying in the Villa Balbiano, where Scott filmed many of the scenes in House of Gucci. The luxurious Villa is one of the largest private residences on Lake Como and has recently been listed on Airbnb. If you’re lucky enough to book it, you’ll get to stay in the master suite with access to the first three floors via a private elevator. There is a lush garden, outdoor pool, private pier, and boathouse. Additionally, the palace has been furnished with the “finest objets d’art and furniture of past centuries, sourced from Sotheby’s and Christie’s,” according to the Airbnb listing. Considering the glamorous decor and venue, this could be the most decadent stay of a lifetime. Bookings open on December 6th at noon EST but only one night, which will run about $1,132, is available: March 30, 2022.
