There are probably four vintage 4x4s that stand head and shoulders above the rest: the Jeep Wrangler, the Land Rover Defender 90, the Toyota FJ Land Cruiser, and the Ford Bronco. Getting your hands on a resto-modded version can cost you some serious coin. Now, we’re betting an electrified version might bump that price tag a bit further north. Zero Labs is building a silent but stilted runner in a vintage Bronco that’s perfect for the retro-lovin’, tree-huggin’ times. This electric Ford Bronco is powered by a 70kWH motor that churns out 369 horsepower and provides 190 miles of range. And though the body is pure restored vintage goodness along with over 1,000 original Bronco parts, there are upgrades throughout including improved materials and design, especially in the cabin. Zero labs will make only 150 of these electric Broncos, and they’re taking reservations now for delivery in late 2020.
