Zagato Maserati Mostro

Looks aside, this just sounds sexy. Say it with us, Zagato Maserati Mostro. Then add extremely limited edition. It’s perfect right? While its official unveil is scheduled for this weekend at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Lake Como, Italy, Milan based coach builder extraordinaire Zagato gave a preview of their latest creation. Designed as a tribute to their 1957 Maserati 450S ‘il Mostro’, it makes sense that the new version is also made for the track but legal for the street. An all carbon fiber body is moved forward by a V-8 mated to a semi-automatic 6 speed transmission. Suspending all of this get up and go is accomplished via a dual wishbone set-up along with 19 inch wheels. Alas, we did mention limited edition but don’t worry about trying to get your paws on one cause all 5 of them are already spoken for.
