Looking for an interesting, new-to-you pickup truck that isn’t short on character or mileage? Now’s your chance to own Matthew McConaughey’s Ford F250 from True Detective. The pickup truck driven by Rust Cohle through one of the most epic seasons of television ever was donated by writer Nic Pizzolatto and is currently being auctioned off for the Just Keep Livin Foundation. Online bids are set to end on April 20 with a live auction to follow, but the current price is only about ten thousand dollars higher than the Blue Book value of $12,500 at the time of writing. As for the truck itself, it’s a 1997 Ford F250HD XL with a red paint job in “fair” condition with a current mileage of 153,345 and a manual transmission. We’re not going to say that the truck itself is as award-winning as McConaughey’s performance in the show, but it’s definitely “alright, alright, alright” if you’re in the market with a used truck with a sick bit of history.
