Founded in 1928, the Inferno Downhill race was designed for skiers–insane skiers–to go down really, really fast. It was not designed for cars. It’s fifteen kilometers of completely hostile territory that many said couldn’t be done by a car. This is all according to Ben Collins (aka The Stig) and we’re inclined to believe him. The guy’s been driving for awhile. Naturally, Land Rover sent him down in a Range Rover Sport hitting almost 100 mph in places.
