Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept

Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept

The Jeep Wrangler has been one of the most recognizable trucks on the road for more than three decades. This is of course due in no small part to the fact the design is iconic because it hasn’t changed much in the handful of generations it’s been around. One of the things Jeep enthusiasts have been asking for forever–and was only previously available through the custom market–is a bigger engine. That’s where the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept comes in. That 392 in the name comes from the 392 cubic inches of displacement from the 6.4-liter V8 engine that makes 450 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. That engine is mated to an eight speed automatic transmission that makes it good for a 0-60 time of less than five seconds. Jeep didn’t stop at the engine, either. Dana 44 axles. Full-time two-speed transfer case. Electric front- and rear-axle lockers. 37″ mud-terrain tires. Jeep Performance Parts two-inch factory lift kit. If Jeep does put the concept into production, this is the Wrangler you’re going to want to be driving.
