The automotive world let out a collective gasp last year when Land Rover announced the end of one of the most iconic off-road legends, the Defender. But chin up, no need to start dropping salt yet as there are a slew of commemorative models coming out including this recently announced Startech Sixty8. But don’t waste too much time kicking the tires cause, as the name implies, there are only going to be 68 of them. Beginning with a Defender 110 Wagon, Startech applies their 3.1 Vintage package and finishes the Defender in Corris Grey with a Santorini Black roof. However, the interior is where Startech really knocked the cover off the ball. In place of the normal utilitarian interior is top of the line, quilted leather and Alpine infotainment system with navigation. Power comes from the stock 2.2 litre 4 cylinder. Available now.
