There are some products that are so beautifully designed you don’t really need to know anything more about them than the materials they’re constructed out of and the name on top of them. This skateboard deck from Saturdays NYC and Shut is one of the products. It’s made (in the USA no less) with 7-ply hardwood maple and rolls in (once you add things like Ace trucks, Shut wheels and Bones Abec 7 bearings) at 29.6″ x 7.75.” Shut has been doing skateboards for over 25 years and this collab with Saturdays shows off the design and build chops of both of the prestigious houses. The only design you have to make, after you put wheels and trucks on it, is where to ride it first.
