Maybe an actual car isn’t in the budget this year, but at least you can get a classic one for your kid in the form of a vintage pedal car that crushes any plastic jalopy from Walmart. RM Sotheby’s is offering up 53 lots that include just about every kind of pedal car you can think of from trucks to boats and planes, as well as some truly classic human-powered cars. Pedal car aficionado Bruce Callis has curated all of them and performed careful restorations, as well, including disassembly, cleaning, body work, painting, etc. to bring them to their current condition. Most of these were displayed at the McLean County Museum of History in Bloomington, IL for two years. The auction might be over, but more than a few kids will be really happy way before Christmas.
