Here’s another mouthwatering rendering of a vehicle that should absolutely exist beyond the web and our dreams. Mocked up by designer Doruk Erdem, this beast of burden is named the Pegasus. It uses the Land Rover Series III Defender as its base, adding a huge fire engine-inspired truck cab, a pickup bed, and 6×6 driven wheels powered by a purported 800 horsepower from an unspecified engine. There are also big flared fenders, a modern Land Rover fascia, bed-mounted roll cage, roof-mounted lights, dual side exhaust ports, and a capacious roof rack for overlanding adventures. Someone, somewhere, needs to make this a reality.
